LEVEL C · THEORY-INFORMED ORIGINAL

Creative Learning Confidence Test

Inward Atlas wrote the item set using an established conceptual framework. The resulting score is useful for structured reflection but is not a validated substitute for the source theory or a professional instrument.

CONSTRUCT

What it measures

A 24-item self-reflection assessment of confidence in generating creative ideas and turning them into workable creative performance, especially in learning and problem-solving contexts.

FORMAT

What you complete

24 scored items across 2 displayed dimensions

SCORING

How the score is made

Declared Likert items are summed after reverse-keying where specified, then transformed to a 0–100 display scale. The display is a response score, not a population percentile, unless an official lookup conversion is explicitly named.

RELIABILITY

Consistency evidence

No reliability coefficient has been estimated from Inward Atlas users for this online administration. Where a source link is provided, consult it for evidence about the original instrument or source scale.

VALIDITY

What the evidence supports

Inward Atlas wrote the item set using an established conceptual framework. The resulting score is useful for structured reflection but is not a validated substitute for the source theory or a professional instrument. Inward Atlas has not established psychometric validity for this implementation.

NORMS

How values should be read

No representative Inward Atlas norm sample is applied. Displayed 0–100 values are transformed response scores, not percentile ranks or claims about comparison with a population.

Source and implementation record

Abulela (2024) developed and evaluated a two-dimensional undergraduate creative self-efficacy structure distinguishing creative ideas self-efficacy and creative performance self-efficacy. Inward Atlas uses that conceptual distinction but wrote a new 24-item set and therefore labels this implementation Level C rather than claiming the published scale's validation.

Limitations shown with the assessment

  • This is a theory-informed original assessment, not the published Abulela Creative Self-Efficacy Scale and not a validated creativity test.
  • Scores describe self-reported confidence, not objective creative ability, intelligence, talent, or academic potential.
  • The 0–100 values are transformed response scores, not population percentiles.
  • Do not use this result for admissions, hiring, diagnosis, or other high-stakes decisions.

Implementation notes

  • Each dimension contains six direct and six reverse-keyed original items.
  • The published research supports a two-dimensional conceptual structure, but Inward Atlas's new wording has not itself been psychometrically validated.
  • This assessment measures self-beliefs, not objective creativity or learning ability.
