LEVEL C · THEORY-INFORMED ORIGINAL

Reasoning Skills Test

Inward Atlas wrote the item set using an established conceptual framework. The resulting score is useful for structured reflection but is not a validated substitute for the source theory or a professional instrument.

CONSTRUCT

What it measures

A 24-question original performance challenge across four reasoning formats, scored by objective answer keys without converting the result into an IQ or population percentile.

FORMAT

What you complete

24 scored items across 4 displayed dimensions

SCORING

How the score is made

Each selected option adds only its declared dimension weights. Totals are transformed to the displayed range with deterministic code; no AI participates in scoring.

RELIABILITY

Consistency evidence

No reliability coefficient has been estimated from Inward Atlas users for this online administration. Where a source link is provided, consult it for evidence about the original instrument or source scale.

VALIDITY

What the evidence supports

Inward Atlas wrote the item set using an established conceptual framework. The resulting score is useful for structured reflection but is not a validated substitute for the source theory or a professional instrument. Inward Atlas has not established psychometric validity for this implementation.

NORMS

How values should be read

No representative Inward Atlas norm sample is applied. Displayed 0–100 values are transformed response scores, not percentile ranks or claims about comparison with a population.

Source and implementation record

Inward Atlas reviewed ICAR as a possible open cognitive source but did not reproduce ICAR items because current distribution/licensing signals are not clean enough for a future commercial consumer product. These 24 text-only items and answer keys were written specifically for Inward Atlas.

Limitations shown with the assessment

  • This is an original, unnormed reasoning challenge, not a validated IQ, aptitude, admissions or employment test.
  • Scores are percent-correct on this specific 24-item set and four six-item sections. They are not population percentiles.
  • Small section differences are imprecise because each section contains only six items.
  • Do not use this result for education placement, hiring, diagnosis, disability assessment, or other high-stakes decisions.

Implementation notes

  • Six items score into each of four sections.
  • Each item has exactly one option keyed 1 and three options keyed 0.
  • Section percentages are percent-correct on six items; one item changes a section score by approximately 16.7 percentage points.
  • No IQ, general cognitive ability, norm percentile, admissions, employment or clinical claim is supported.
